Summertime

 When the going gets hot, the hot stay indoors.  So if you're stuck inside too, here's a few ideas to inspire.

 Make a Strawberry Sponge Cake

or try baking a family recipe you haven't tried in years.  If you don't like to bake.........

 decorate a styrofoam cake with your favorite little treasures or..........

Make something new.... different!

 Fill Sand Sculpture bottles with  

Colorful Candies or

Jazz up a dollar store paper flower, then suspend it from the ceiling.

Take photographs or ponder the history of your life.....

 

Go on a visual treasure hunt for beauty online.   Join Pinterest and organize your inspiration boards.

Research something you want to learn  more about or..........

 

Go to the library and discover a classic book you've never read before and read it or........

Reorganize! 

surrounding yourself with things that inspire!

  


Find some happy fabric

and make a skirt or.....

  

 a new necklace or..........

 

Invent a reason to wear your favorite HAT ~ Have a Mad Hatter party!

Go to a concert and tap your toes~

 

If you do venture out, go early.  Ride your bike and deliver rose petals to

someone you love~

Strap wings on your horse and let your imagination fly!!

She  knows how to pull off
 her "big hair"and fast.....



She disrobes quickly, no problem!



And even looses her plastic head,
with a push of a button.
So sad, but silly !

 

All's well that ends well!

 girls head, rewriting history.

How Life Changes

As we prepare to depart at the end of the
month, I've been going through things  like
 old photographs.



Taking a walk down memory lane &
thinking about where I've been & where
were going. Five babies were born since
 this photograph was taken!!



Remembering a sacred place where we
celebrated my friend Debra's 40th birthday.
It's strange to think, but this is now a
housing development. Things change.

I will miss my friends here in New Jersey
 terribly, but we can keep in touch!
My gypsy self is looks forward to
 where we're headed and to creating
 more magical experiences!

 so many acts being performed on mine,
 that I could use a course in juggling!



I'm changing from one tutu to the next as
 quickly as I possibly can, as we prepare to move.

Next, Leslie of Snips and Snails and Puppy~dog Tails did a  two hours trek each way to come for a visit.  We had a delightful day together at the shore.  Leslie is a great photographer & gave me a little crash course!
Because of her 'photographers' nature of discovery, we found ourselves wandering into a building that I would never have peeked into.  And what to our wondering eyes should appear, but........




this amazing gigantic mermaid mural currently being painted in the old Casino building in Asbury Park!

me think outside the box.  I like the black
ribbon and the blue, white and red ribbon,
the pink ribbon too.  It was Mike's idea
