Our driver picks us up in front of the
Chateau, then we depart on a festive
journey where we find ourselves in a
mysterious wood. Delicious excitement
can be felt in the cool Autumn air!
We walk without talking, hearts pounding.
The evidence of merrymaking can be heard
in the distance, and if you strain you can
even discern the tinkling of fairy bells!
Cautiously we tippy toe ahead, my Mother,
Coco and I, proceeding only by the glow of
the bright Harvest Moon.
The sky is turning an amazing shade of Elizabeth Bunson Pink, so now there is evidence at long last. The moment has arrived! We are finally nearing the entrance to
The Bloglandia Ball !
Mystified, we are unable to locate the red carpet. Then Coco who has excellent night vision, sees and smells it first! The stunning fragrant flower petal path to greet and guide us to the festivities!
We wind our way round and up the mountain, with Coco at the lead. Now we really can hear the music!! And will you look at this? I can hardly believe my eyes!!
It's Vanessa Valencia gettin' down with her band "The Fancifuls"! Wow, and how I love good music! Eb must have some serious connections in Bloglandia to pull this one off!
Can you believe? Even Vincent Van Gogh heard about the Ball and wanted to light up the night in a special "Starry" way. Looks so artistic, thanks Vincent!

Now we are greeted by twin Moon Maiden sprites, who cast flower petals illuminating a bright type of happiness and joy! They smile and giggle while offering us:
Moon Cakes as a symbol of good luck for tonight
and for always!
A mysterious Gypsy friend of eb's appears and is offering us a glass of bubbly.
So my friends, finally the moment we have all been waiting for!
It's time for our GRAND ENTRANCE!
My mom glides in under the starry night,
with an elegant gown composed of a
beautiful Calla Lily petal!
Pure Magic I say! Just dreamy!
In the Moonlight you can see her ravishing beauty! She's raring to go! Look how she's moving directly out to dance! Bet she will be featured in The Bloglandia Times, as one of the "best dressed"at the Ball. Isn't she radiant? At twelve midnight she will celebrate her birthday and I'm not kidding! Happy Birthday Mom, you Lucky Girl!

Next enters my sister Coco, who wanted to
come to the ball, but was too tired and lazy
to make her own gown, so she stole mine.
She's very sweet, so I'm not mad.

Oh Coco, you look purrfectly ravishing
tonight! You look better in my gown than
I did anyway. You are always the cutest
one. Little sisters certainly know how
to steal the show!
As you can imagine this posed quite a problem, as I had to go back to the drawing board and quickly concoct a new ensemble.
I do have a little secret to divulge.......shush.....
.... Coco may have the cutest outfit.............
But I have the biggest hair!
Well now that were all here,
I think we should join my Mom
and do some dancing.
Come join in !
Join the circle! Let's dance and prance.
Let's celebrate, and Mom
you start the second line,
and we'll follow!
Let's make merry under the beautiful
Harvest Moon with one another!!
WOooow weeee !! I say, Bloglandian's
sure do know how to shake it!
Not to mention the Fairies !
Even the bugs of Bloglandia
have started to get down to Vanessa's
funky sound!
After many hours of merrymaking,
and admiring one another's finery
and inner beauty, it's nearing dawn
and the Ball is winding down........but
I can barely believe my eyes!
Will you look what has just appeared?
eb has arranged for Aladdin to fly us home
on his magic carpet!
Thank you Miss Elizabeth!!
What an enchanted evening!
You sure know how to throw a bash!
We All Love You!
Colorful , Wonderful You!
