Summer Reading

These Photos chronicle some of the activities the children of our community, created during the Summer Reading Program at the Carnegie Public Library, in Jefferson Texas.  

I wish I had a pair of purple cat ears to wear with my pearls like this little girl, don't you? ;-)   She has a pair in every color and doesn't leave home without them.

Kids made their own lunch during one of the programs.

 

And made masks at another.

Speaking of reading.....have you read the Encyclopedia of the Exquisite , by Jessica Kerwin Jenkins?  My mom and I have been thoroughly enjoying this book, not to mentions learning so many interesting facts.  Here is one more example of a fabulous find via Pintrest!
