While my mom was in the hospital, we amused ourselves by imagining that we could write a book entitled: Hospitals for Dummies. ;-) Because seriously, there IS so much to know!
One thing she wanted me to do, is snap a photo of this reader board above with the smiley face drawing. We were lucky to have Vernon P. as our Housekeeper and he kindly took time to draw this great message above. When my mom asked if he were an artist, Vernon replied; "No, I'm an Elvis impersonator", well he did have dyed black hair, after all! We got a lot of mileage out of that one!
We're back now and although my mom is still a bit weak, it's true that there is
NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!
