The puppets are abuzz at The Fantasia!!! Our little town just brought back....
THE EASTER PARADE!
Couldn't miss snapping these shots during the lineup. Here's my friend Nancy. Dosn't she look smashing? Hope she'll win the big prize!!
It's fun to wear a spectacular hat, but we unfortunately didn't have what it took this year. My mother had an adverse reaction to a cancer medicine called Afinitor and it's wiped her out BIG TIME. Soon after, I caught a mean wicked cold, so we're both feeling way too lethargic to pony up for marching in a parade this year and that is so unlike us.
The lady in the middle is Dorothy. She is 98 years old and still writes a column for our newspaper. Isn't she great?
About hats and parades: You'll have a super chance to view some of the worlds finest chapeaux featured at The New York's Easter Parade 2011, just as soon as Susanna posts her hat and all best she sees. Stay tuned, she'll probably share her photographs and memories starting next week!
I've paced myself for this years Easter celebration, because the show must go on!! The party favs are made. The paper used is Japanese Origami.
I met early with The Easter Bunny and secured a few chocolate rabbits for my peeps...
And came home with a nice looking Easter Lily too....
My mom's just finished her pretty flower arrangement for tomorrow...
The tablecloth has been ironed and the table set for dinner with friends late tomorrow afternoon.
Hope YOUR day will be filled with joy and peace, wherever you are and what ever you celebrate!
Blessings to all and
Happy Easter
