The meeting took place on an ordinary Wednesday morning, while the Queen arose from a terrific slumber. Still groggy, she fancied her bed to be a gigantic china bowel, brimming with green apples.
Coming to, she sensed the distinct fragrance of Granny Smith apples and thought to herself “what a brilliant dream!! I do so adore dreams featuring fresh fruits”!
It was precisely this moment she felt something strange plop and settle down upon her head. She jumped up and immediately made her way to the nearest palace mirror!
Gazing at her reflection she noticed a tiny, unusual speck of a bird had settling down on the upper right side of her forehead and on further inspection, decided it was composed of the finest pale blue Mother of Pearl. Immediately she tried shooing it off, but to no avail. This little bird wasn’t budging! What an odd a morning it had turned out to be!
In the days to come, the Kingdom began whispering behind her back, she knew it was true. There was gossip being fueled about her new bird head & it hurt. She looked down at her charms, picking the one that said Spirit and prayed for inner peace and strength.
A fortnight passed. Slowly the Queen began to accept (with grace) this tiny blue bird stuck onto her forehead. She even became accustomed and started adoring the bird’s presence, feeling grateful and blessed. It was then, little bird was certain the Queen was prepared to accept her tiny jewels of wisdom, one at a time. Shimmering itsy~bitsy Royal gifts.
That night like a miracle, Blue Bird came to her in a dream, but this time as a real bird and gave her “the gift”.
And she could feel it, the Queen ceased to care what others thought about her. As she stopped caring, it took away all the negative power and do you know, immediately people stopped starring and gossiping behind her back. I mean pronto, just like that!
As the story goes, our sweet Queen ceased evermore to care what others thought of her and her Reign. As you can probably surmise, one things leads to another and our dear lady made a tremendous transformation! She went free to be herself and her life started to become rich and colorful and she started to bloom!
As her inner beauty took hold, flowers of wisdom started growing all around as an outward expression of inner beauty. The red velvet petals taking hold, trailing up and all around her fine skirt. She has become like a field of flowers, grounded with jewels of wisdom! Her friend is the blue bird of Happiness!
The End, for Now!

This story was created and the flowers at bottom of the Queens Skirt for a Round Robin
called:
~ The Royal Confections ~
a group of artists, started
by Art Tea Life.
A Round Robin is where
one artist works on something
(in this case a vintage dress form
and a journal) then passes it onto the
next artist (we have ten participants).
At the end you get back your own
creation with a journal of
her journey.
